Will there be any bonus content or short stories about the characters?
Elara is narrating the blog. I also have a question-and-answer page where she and some of the other characters will answer questions.
Did you always know how the story would end, or did it evolve over time?
I kind of did. But what I thought would be the beginning of the book turned out to be the end, setting it up for a second book.
What challenges are you face while writing the book?
I have two teenage boys, four dogs, a cat, and a full-time job. There are too many challenges to name…
How did you come up with the characters and the storyline?
I was writing fanfiction. I had reached a point where I was writing original material, creating the aliens, and giving them backgrounds, and I kind of went…Huh! I wonder if I can write a book of my own instead.
